Founded in Tauranga in 1972, Classic Iron quickly became well known for manufacturing Wrought Iron products that are of the highest quality and distinctly different from other products available.
Scott Daniels has owned and operated the business since 2002 and was an employee of the business previously. He brings many years of experience in the Wrought Iron industry to the current business.
Our workshop is one of the best equipped that you will find in New Zealand, with many machines designed specifically for forming and working Wrought Iron, some of which are unique to Australasia. Using a combination of modern technology and more traditional blacksmith techniques, we can turn a vision into a stunning piece of artwork that will be an authentic feature of any property or landscape.
We are well known for our decorative Wrought Iron balustrades, gates and fences, our speciality being geometric balustrades, and we are also specialists in steel staircases and spiral staircases, stainless steel, glass and aluminium balustrades and commercial security gates.
Although we are based in Tauranga, our work takes us all around New Zealand, particularly Auckland, Hamilton, Coromandel, Rotorua, Taupo and we have also completed works in Japan, Canada, and the Philippines.
We are happy to work closely with you and your architect, designer and builder from concept ideas through to the finished product.
